Salary
Gross salary: from 5,525 to 6,625 PLN + seniority bonus and other remuneration components in accordance with the applicable Company Collective Agreement.

Job description:
People with more and less experience are encouraged to apply. The job level and responsibilities will be tailored to the qualifications of the selected candidate. Responsibilities: 1. Conducting conservation and restoration work on museum objects on paper and made of leather and combined from various materials (i. e. , book bindings, for example) and making conservation copies of museum objects (from the group of objects: paper and leather); 2. preparation of conservation documentation of the work carried out in accordance with the Conservation Documentation Scheme, including making photographic documentation; 3. Participation in research projects on conservation issues of museum artifacts; 4. cooperating for the purposes of conservation prevention and the realization of exhibitions (including taking care of the conditions for exhibiting, storing, moving, periodically cleaning, packing and transporting historical objects, as well as the safe assembly and disassembly of exhibits); 5. Preparing conservation opinions on the state of preservation of objects on paper and made of leather and combined from various materials (i. e. , book bindings, for example) and entering the data in the electronic system for recording collections; 6. giving conservation opinions on monuments submitted to the Museumalia Purchase Committee, conservation documentation and cost estimates and programs for conservation work commissioned outside the Museum on objects made of paper and leather; 7. Using electronic workflow; 8. Collaborating in the Museum's design, exhibition and conservation program teams; 9. Actively participate in training courses, conferences on conservation and museum topics; 10 Perform other tasks assigned by superiors as part of the activities of the museum's Conservation Laboratory.
Other requirements: Specialized single master's degree in art conservation and restoration. Required profile (specialty): Conservation and restoration of paper and leather Mandatory qualification: a. Diploma of higher education. b. A postgraduate degree in conservation of historical objects or in museology issues will be an added advantage. Experience: a. Documented (work certificates, references, etc.) work experience in conservation and restoration of historic objects, including conservation of objects on paper (e.g. drawings, prints, old prints, manuscripts) and objects made of leather and combined (e.g. book bindings) or long-term practice with historic objects made of paper and leather b. Theoretical and practical knowledge of art and conservation techniques and technologies. c. Presentation of their realizations in the form of descriptive and photographic documentation (portfolio or conservation documentation for review). Skills 1. professional skills: a. Ability to independently carry out conservation and restoration work on objects made of paper and leather. b. Ability to work with a variety of materials, i.e., experience with conservation of photographs and glass negatives, will be welcome. c. Ability to prepare documentation of ongoing conservation and restoration work. d. Good knowledge of MS Office and conservation documentation wizard. 2. Additional skills and aptitude: a. Knowledge of conservation prevention principles will be an asset (not mandatory). b. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work in a team, possess such qualities as openness, communication skills, accuracy, reliability, punctuality, availability, diligence, efficiency in performing assigned duties.
