Job description:
Archivist/archivist for: shaping the national archival resource in the Branch and shaping the national archival resource What you will be dealing with The person in this position:
- Controls - proper handling of documentation control of company archives in state and local government organizational units proper accumulation, collection, processing and transfer of archival materials to the state archives.
- Evaluates - archival expertise conducting archival expertise related to the valuation and evaluation of documentation in state, local government and non-state organizational units.
- Evaluates - office and archival regulations Evaluate draft office and archival regulations governing the handling of documentation.
- Opinions - disposal of non-archival documentation Opinions on the merits and form of applications for disposal of non-archival documentation in state and local government organizational units.
- Conducts - consultations with state and non-state organizational units on archival law.
- Trains - employees of organizational units in the use of the law on archival records. Who we are looking for You will need (essential requirements) - Education: secondary education - Work experience of at least 3 months in administrative and office work - No person may be employed in the civil service who, in the period from July 22, 1944 to July 31, 1990, worked or served in state security organs or was a collaborator of such organs within the meaning of the provisions of the Act of October 18, 2006 on the disclosure of information about documents of state security organs from 1944-1990 and the content of such documents - does not apply to candidates born on or after August 1, 1972. A person selected for employment will have to submit a vetting statement if born before August 1, 1972.
- Knowledge of archival law and records management regulations and ability to interpret them.
- Knowledge of the operation of modern registries and filing systems, as well as the principles of organization and operation of company archives.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, self-reliance to a large extent, resistance to stress, organizational and interpersonal skills, decisiveness, assertiveness, ability to learn and assimilate new knowledge.
- Possession of Polish citizenship or citizenship of another country of the European Union or citizenship of another country whose citizens, on the basis of international agreements or provisions of Community law, have the right to take up employment on the territory of the Republic of Poland - Possession of full public rights - Not having been convicted of an intentional crime or an intentional fiscal crime by a final judgment Additional advantage will be (additional requirements) - Education: higher degree in archival studies or records management - Work experience of at least 1 year in public administration or judicial bodies - Operation of specialized computer programs.
