Job description: is set forth in the Order of the Minister of Justice of August 5, 2016 on the detailed scope and manner of performance of assistant and senior assistant prosecutors (Journal of Laws 2016. 1260).
Other requirements: Necessary requirements for the candidate in accordance with Article 176 § 1 of the Law of January 28, 2016. Law on Public Prosecutor's Office (i.e., Journal of Laws 2024.390, as amended): The position of assistant prosecutor may be occupied by one who: 1) has Polish citizenship and enjoys full civil and civic rights, and has not been validly convicted of an intentional crime prosecuted by public indictment; 2) is of impeccable character; 3) has completed higher education in Poland and obtained a master's degree or foreign studies recognized in Poland; 4) is at least 24 years old. Additional qualifications: Completion of a law degree, prosecutor's or judge's application.

The course of the competition: is specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Justice of November 2, 2016 on holding a competition for the position of assistant Prosecutor (i.e., Journal of Laws 2024.331). The competition will be conducted by a Commission appointed by the Regional Prosecutor in Poznań, Deadline: until 08.05.2026.
Required documents: Required documents for application: 1) application to compete and be employed as an assistant prosecutor; 2) Curriculum vitae and career information; 3) original or officially certified copy of a document confirming graduation from higher education in the Republic of Poland and obtaining a professional degree professional master's degree or a certificate of having passed the master's exam, or original or an officially certified copy of a document certifying completion of foreign studies recognized in the Republic of Poland; 4) the statement referred to in Article 180 § 6 of the Law of January 28, 2016. Law on Prosecution; 5) statement that he/she is a citizen of the Republic of Poland and enjoys full civil and civic rights; 6) a current photograph in accordance with the requirements used for the issuance of identity cards; 7) statement of consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the competition; 8) confirmation of acquaintance with the information for whistleblowers; 9) information from the National Criminal Register regarding the applicant (not older than 6 months); The candidate may attach to the application documents confirming additional qualifications and achievements, and in particular confirming the passing of the prosecutor's or judge's exam.
